gwynn-Sackson Residence
The goals: The Gwynn-Sackson’s directed us to use every available inch of space for blooming plants, vegetables and herbs. They also requested a water feature, a compost system, a sense of privacy and a garden that could be enjoyed by passersby.
The challenges: With their small lot, they had very little space to work with. As an added challenge, the home is in a historic district and was subject to restrictions on fence and wall heights.
The results: With such limited space, creating true privacy was not an option, however we were able to create beautiful, productive garden and still offer a sense of privacy.
The stonework was done by Jill Haynie.
